You board the plane nervously, glancing back over your shoulder at the land being left behind. You try to capture it in your mind, a single snapshot of what you're leaving behind forever. The sunset is blinding, but you gaze into it wistfully, letting it sear a twinkling green and purple stain against the rods and cones in your eye.

You hope it's enough.

Flight 433 is a concept album about a fictional aviation accident. The plane took off from Colorado in 1994. There were 54 people aboard. They searched for days after the plane disappeared somewhere over the Nevada deserts but found no one, no wreckage, nothing. Some kept looking for months afterwards even though they knew there was nothing to find. Flight 433 vanished into the night, and no one knows how or why.

I'd like to present a musical account of one such passenger aboard that flight. It's just as much about my growth as it is about growth as a concept. Thank you for listening.
